INNER BALANCE QIGONG: Qigong (Pronounced Chee Kung) is a slow, gentle, holistic healing practice,rooted in the ancient wisdom of the Chinese Medical Arts. Qigong integrates meditation, visualization, mental focus, physical postures with conscious breath awareness. Qi is the life force, or bio-energy that supports and sustains the body and underlies everything in the Universe. Gong translates as accomplishment, or skill that is developed through consistent practice. Through the discipline of Qigong, one cultivates this vital life force, circulating the Qi to break up stagnancies of energy, cleanse and bring balance to all the organs and systems of the body. Qigong increases vitality, reduces stress, calms the mind, balances the emotions, bolsters stamina and immunity, and creates a deeper attunement with our soul and spirit.
No prior experience necessary. Suitable and adaptable for all bodies. Please wear comfortable clothing in which you can move freely.

Preparation Recommendations:
~ Eat at least 2-3 hours before a session or eat only a light meal.
~ Breathwork is very detoxifying. Drink plenty of water before and after. It purifies the body by flushing out the toxins through the urinary tract.
~ Wear comfortable layered clothing (You may get hot/cold during the active breathing or during the rest portion of the session).
~ Have access to whatever you need to experience maximum comfort while lying down for about an hour (yoga mat, bolster, blanket, small pillow, eye mask).
RECONNECTIVE BREATHWORK: This powerful somatic (body-centered) practice will enhance and accelerate your healing journey. Conscious, connected, circular breathing allows you to transmute the energy of trauma and provides a productive outlet for stuck emotions and limiting patterns of thought related to early life conditioning narratives.
Reconnective Breathwork creates a safe, supported space, so you can give yourself permission to bring what you have been holding under the surface into the light of your conscious awareness. Liberation is within your power. Feeling = Healing.
Session Structure:
Katrin will explain the benefits of the practice, what you might experience physically, mentally and emotionally, and then demo the breath technique.
Next, set the stage in your body/mind/emotional complex for a dynamic energy shift with a short sequence of Qigong. This brief practice begins to break up stagnant energy and get the Life Force (Qi) flowing.
Then tap into your embodied wisdom through this deeply transformational somatic experience that shifts you out of your thinking mind into your feeling, sensory body. Katrin will lead you through the active breathing for 23-28 minutes (Reconnective BreathWORK requires effort to work), followed by a “Soul Roar” or primal scream, to release any residual, low vibrational energy from the body and energetic field.
During the final phase of the session, Katrin helps you rest, heal and integrate your experience with a Guided Meditation.
