Reconnective Breathwork is powerful somatic (body-centered) practice that will enhance and accelerate your healing journey. Conscious, connected, circular breathing allows you to transmute the energy of trauma and provides a productive outlet for stuck emotions and limiting patterns of thought related to early life conditioning narratives, in a safe, supported environment.
When you experience a one-on-one, couples or group experience of The Reconnection: Breathwork for Inner Alignment, you will tap into your embodied wisdom through this deeply transformational somatic experience that shifts you out of your thinking mind into your feeling, sensory body. Feeling = Healing.
Some Benefits of Reconnective Breathwork:
Quiet the Ego Mind: During Reconnective Breathwork, the thinking part of the brain is less active (transient hypo-frontality), so we are able to enter the “flow” state and explore altered states of consciousness, consciously. This state of being supports self-awareness, clarity, creativity, innovation and lets us connect more fully and freely with our personal guidance system, activating intuition, inner wisdom, and revealing the truth of our authentic self.
Vagus Nerve Stimulation:Deep inhales into the belly during Reconnective Breathwork activate the vagus nerve complex, to promote relaxation, relieve stress, and reduce inflammation in the body.
Dissolve Physical Tension:It is widely known that the body holds the energy of trauma, chronic stress and conditioning at a cellular level. Reconnective Breathwork gives this energy an avenue of release so the body can realign itself and function more optimally, reducing and even eliminating chronic pain.
Emotional Release:Many of us were never given the opportunity to safely express our emotions, so we learned to hold our breath, swallow our feelings, and stuff the emotions. Suppressed emotion leads to stress, anxiety, depression and disconnection from our authentic self. Reconnective Breathwork creates an avenue of escape for these pent up energies to relieve anxiety and depression and foster greater emotional balance.
Deepens Relationship with Self and Others: As we begin to release all we are not (old conditioning and limiting narratives) and reclaim our authentic self, we are more able to establish and maintain functional boundaries to support our greater wellbeing. In so doing, we get clearer about our own essential needs and enhance our ability to communicate those with others, which inevitably leads to deeper, more fulfilling relationships.
A recent Reconnective Breathwork session with Katrin had a substantial impact on my recovery and was incredibly transformative. I'm certain my ability to go within and access past trauma came easier because of her efforts - she ensured the room setting was warm and comfortable, she explained in specific detail exactly how the session would work and continually checked my comfort level at multiple intervals. Most importantly, she provided a safe, trusting environment for me to do this work and as a trauma survivor - this was critical. I felt her comforting presence throughout the session and am certain the positive outcome I had was due to the gentleness, tender care and concern Katrin provided. ~Erika G.
Reconnective Breathwork creates a safe, supported space so you can give yourself permission to bring what you have been holding under the surface into the light of your conscious awareness. Liberation is within your power.
Benefits of Crying: Self-Soothing: regulates emotions, reduces distress and completes the stress cycle creating a greater sense of inner calm.
Physical and Emotional Pain Relief: releases oxytocin and endorphins, our body’s “feel good” chemicals.
Strengthens the Immune System: releases toxins and stress hormones from the body that flow out with our tears.
Increase Energy & Vitality: Opens up energy pathways that have stagnated to experience greater vibrancy and passion for life.
Aids Sleep: the calming, mood-enhancing, and pain-relieving effects of crying may help a person fall asleep more easily. (circular breathing right before bedtime is not recommended, as it is very stimulating to the nervous system. Give yourself plenty of time to regulate the nervous system after a session before trying to fall asleep.)
Community Connection: Gather with like-hearted and like-minded individuals in group sessions, who are consciously seeking to empower their own healing journey. All healing is self-healing, but it can be greatly enhanced when we align with others who are actively engaged in their own awakening.
My first Reconnective Breathwork session with Katrin was a truly transformative experience. Two days later I continue to find it takes less time to focus, center my mind and calm my body. Physically the session was more intense than I had anticipated. Katrin’s skilled guidance and well-crafted wording guided me through a journey of emotion and release, leaving me balanced and light. The greatest gift of the experience is this newly uncovered path to self-love. I sought, and so I found. Thank you for sharing your gifts, Katrin. ~ Katie P.
